A man was sentenced to 12 months in prison and ordered to pay $250,000 in fines for selling unapproved hair products. The court heard the case on November 13, 2017.
The first offences involved the sale of finasteride, which is marketed as a treatment for male pattern baldness.
The second offences involved the sale of hair products marketed as cosmetic and prescription products.
The first offences involved the sale of finasteride, a medication used to treat hereditary hair loss and the second offences involved the sale of hair products marketed as cosmetic and prescription products.
The defendant was found guilty of the first two offences and was ordered to pay $250,000 in fines for the second. The defendant faces a maximum sentence of 12 months in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The prosecution also argued that the defendant had not received proper medical attention due to the pattern of hair loss and that his pattern hair loss was caused by the defendant’s medical condition.
The court found the defendant guilty of the second offence. However, the court did not give sufficient reasons for the sentence to impose a maximum sentence.
“The defendant’s pattern hair loss is due to the defendant’s medical condition,” the court said.
“The defendant has a history of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and has shown a lack of awareness of his condition. He has shown a lack of motivation to talk about his hair loss and has been given a sentence of 12 months in prison.”
The prosecution argued that the defendant’s hair loss was caused by his medical condition.
The court said the defendant’s hair loss was caused by a pattern of hair loss and that the defendant had been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate.
“The defendant is a man who is suffering from this condition and is taking medication,” the court said.
“The defendant is an active consumer of finasteride, and he is taking it for the treatment of his hair loss. The defendant is under the care of a specialist and has been given the appropriate treatment.”
The defendant is also being held for three years.
“The defendant’s hair loss is caused by the condition of the male sex organ. The defendant has been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and is taking finasteride for the treatment of his hair loss.”

In adult men, Proscar is used to decrease an enlarged prostate (also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). It can be used alone or in combination with other medications to alleviate BPH symptoms and possibly avoid surgery. Proscar (Finasteride) may help with BPH symptoms by reducing the need to urinate, improving urine flow with less straining, reducing the sense that the bladder isn't empty, and reducing overnight urination.
This medication works by lowering the quantity of DHT, a natural body hormone that drives prostate growth. Proscar isn't approved for prostate cancer prevention. It may raise the risk of acquiring a very dangerous form of prostate cancer by a small amount.
Keep a list of everything you use (including prescription and non-prescription pharmaceuticals, as well as herbal products) and discuss it with your doctor and pharmacist. Without your doctor's permission, do not begin, stop, or modify the dosage of any medications. The findings of a blood test used to identify prostate cancer may be influenced by this medicine (prostatic-specific antigen or PSA levels).
